Interview with Myra Christian concerning her experiences as a resident of Hamilton Park, Texas from 1955 to 1991. Christian discusses her parents, her segregated education in Grand Prairie, Texas, her employment as a private housekeeper, housing in the Dallas projects, African-American life in the Hall-Thomas area of Dallas, her decision to buy a home in Hamilton Park, home improvements, transportation problems, the establishment of a beauty shop in Hamilton Park Shopping Center, flooding problems, Hamiltonians and their social activities, Hamilton Park School, school desegregation, Pacesetter, and property restrictions.
